Precision Decking was formed by Greg Candrick in 1987.
Greg was born and bred on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and is a former shipwright/boatbuilder.
After completing his boatbuilding apprenticeship in Sydney, he spent time in Perth building luxury class vessels. Throughout this time he was consistently laying beautiful teak decks on boats of all sizes. When he returned to Sydney he gained his carpenters licence and immediately started building domestic house decks.
Thirty years of building decks has made Greg and his building team highly experienced and ready to tackle any type of decking, patio or pergola construction job. They are also experts in repairs and maintenance and can provide advice on the best type of care your deck will require.
Greg’s qualifications include:
- Completion of Boatbuilder Trade Course: 1st in course 1982
- Obtained Carpenters License: 1990
- Completion of Advanced Certificate in Building Supervision (Builders License Course): 1st in course 1998
